Weekend ClOps

Another successful weekend of ClOpping! Gold medals all around! Thanks to everypony for your hard work and dedication; we're getting to level 50 pretty quickly. We won't level up next weekend since we'll be 500 points and change short, but at this rate, we should be 50 before Black Ops 2 comes out. Not sure what they'll do at that point. Anyway, our excellent leaderboards are after the jump!

Also catchup on op leaderboards for the last half of June. Everypony's been working hard, banging out gold medal after gold medal, and Elite's finally getting it together enough that we can show off a little. So rock those emblems, rock our pony title, and know that each and every one of us makes this clan one of the best in the world in competitions, and the best in the world for friendship.

The power was out and Dairy Queen refused to put a pony on the cake, so Rarity had to get her hooves muddy.

Nice job on the recent Domination and HC Kill Confirmed ops; good to see that even when a lot of us are taking a well-earned break, our clan's foundation is so strong that we're easily taking golds anyway. Here are the leaderboards:

On a related note, I think there's been a lot of interest in trying for a Domination champ badge. It'll be a steep climb, because we're nowhere near as close as we were when we started thinking about getting a KC champ badge, but for RenaissanceMan5's thoughts, check after the jump.

Nice job, everypony! Looks like the other top clans are adopting our strategy: Lethal x Gaming got 5,092 confirms. We flipped the metagame. Imitation really is the sincerest form of flattery.

We had some organizational problems and ended up with only 5 lobbies, not to mention xBox Live crapping itself every five minutes, but we still placed 6th out of 30,507. Thanks to everypony who participated, and a very solid showing from all 5 of our teams

Anyway, I think our work is done here. Lethal x Gaming is showing everypony the power of friendship pretty hardcore.

Hardcore KC Friday, 5-26-2012!

So is everypony ready to do it again? This will be interesting, since hardcore is so much faster than core. Anyway, I think the basic plan is to try the same strategy as last time, and we'll see how organized the other top clans can get! To take a little bit of the burden off of JiaJohn a little bit, I'd like to use this post to organize teams again. Sign up in the comments by providing the following information:

• Your gamertag
• If you would like to collect tags or play support (no promises on this one)
• If you prefer to run Assault or Support killstreaks.
• If you prefer Assault, what streaks you run and how reliably you get them (e.g. every other game, every game, twice a game). K/D is also helpful.
• If there are any clanmates you would prefer to play with (again, no promises)

I hope to hear from ~40 of you again! We had 42 ponies in last time, so let's have some good turnout!

Update: It's really helpful to know what kind of killstreaks everyone runs! A team with 5 guys trying to call in attack choppers, and a team with 5 guys dropping UAV/Vests won't be as effective as two teams with a mix of killstreak support. Please let us know about your usual playstyle, if you can!

Update 2: SqaD x Leader wants to let us know that the winner of this coming op will need over 6000 confirms total. I think he was referring to Mars' performance here.

5-11-12 Hardcore Kill Confirmed

Never doubt Elite! They came through timely as ever with clan op results. Certainly no f'ing up here. Congratulations to the entire clan, but especially to our Dear Leader, for getting Exuberance confirms.

In other news, we have a core Team Death Match clan op coming up tonight from 6-9PM EST. Hope to see a good turnout, the herd that maims together yadda yadda yadda. Go get kills.

We are the 0.115% - Sticky Fingers 4-28-2012

A lot of you have already seen this, but our cadre of illustrated equine enthusiasts has performed exceptionally in today's clan operation. For starters, we had excellent turnout; 16 people participated with two full parties and change. Certainly a welcome change to see new faces mixed in with the usual crowd! Also worth a quick mention, well...

We placed 38th out of over 33,596 clans.

We recently had a clan ops for Hardcore TDM. Although most of us don't play/dislike this game mode, some of clan mates decided to still give it a shot in order to get the gold badge for our clan. Unfortunately, our clan received a silver badge, but we came really close to gold. Our performance was due to the lack of premium members. Initially, there were four participants, but this number dropped to two. Near the end of the ops the number rose back to three, however, it was not enough to boost our kill count.

Congratulations are in order for our clan mates that put up with this game mode. You guys rock. Woohoo.

NOTE: We have a domination clan op this Saturday around noon. There is also a TDM clan op on Sunday that we hope to enlist in. Get on to the COD internetz and show the noobs the power of friendship, everypony!

Great job, everypony! Even though a lot of us couldn't make it, JiaJohn, Apple Dash, Punsy, Rapture, War Musician, and Dark Penguin saw us through to another top 1% performance! Also, shoutouts to our indispensable support ponies, in particular Yay Fluttershy and Data404! Strong work all around.

In other amusing news, remember our top 50 performance, 44 out of 29909? Well, turns out we did even better than that, 43 our of 29907!

We kicked some serious flank during the recent TDM clan ops and we have our stats to prove it.  Overall, our clan placed 264 out of 31824 clans that participated. This puts us in the top 1%!

Our supreme leader, MarsBringer, took the lead with 409 kills. o Apple Dash o took 2nd with 387 kills and Wharrrrrrgarbl taking 3rd with 338 kills. I want to thank everypony for participating in other exciting clan ops

Addendum by Wharrrrrrgarbl: I'd like to also congratulate everybody on setting a new record for TDM kills for us - the most we had previously managed was 1800 or so. Great job!

Good job, everypony! Sorry I couldn't make it; I was on call. I'm pretty pleased to see these results, though!

We'll also be sending our regrets to inactive players this Saturday, so let us know that you'd like to stay if you haven't already! After that, we'll get some more information up about tryouts and what we're looking for. Stay tuned for some new faces!

Incidentally, this is exactly what we want our Kill Confirmed op leaderboards to look like - high scores from our scoring guys, and a few unavoidable pickups from our fantastic support crew. I'll update this post when the final rankings are out.
